25th August was jointly observed ” BALIDAAN DIWAS ” by Bhartiya Gorkha Parisangh, Uttarakhand Rajya Shakha, Dehra Dun and U.K. Rajya Nepali Bhasha Samiti. Chief Guest of the occasion was Sh. Ganesh Joshi, MLA, Mussoorie Bidhan Sabha and Guest of honour was Ex-MLA, Mussoorie area Sh. Ranjeet Singh Verma. All the guests laid wreath in front of the statue of Shaheed Maj. Durga Mall and paid homage to Freedom Fighter. Chief Guest Sh. Joshi, MLA, in his speech, assured the crowd that he would make all out efforts to fulfil the demand of Gorkha Community. Sh. C.B. Gurung sang a song written and composed by himself and paid homage to martyr Maj. Durga Mall. Programme was ended by thanks given by the President, UK Rajya Nepali Bhasha Samiti.
